Christian Lopez Autumn Acoustic Afternoon
October 1 @ 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm
Gates open at 12:30 p.m., concert begins at 1 p.m.
Christian Lopez is not merely riding the wave of Americana music, the West Virginia native is bending it to its knees. With the will of his voice and the stomp of a steady beat, Christian Lopez is pioneering his own brand of Folk Rock.
Hailed as an Americana wunderkind when he burst onto the scene in 2015, Lopez recorded his debut album “Onward,” produced by multi-Grammy winning producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton), when he was just 18. That album was followed up by his critically acclaimed sophomore album “Red Arrow” in 2017, featuring guests like Vince Gill and Kenneth Pattengale (Milk Carton Kids).
Since then, Lopez has released two albums, including “The Other Side (2021) and his latest, “Magdalena” (June 2023) which he wrote and recorded while living in the tiny town of Madalena, New Mexico.
A proud “road warrior,” Lopez steps out year round for his own headlining shows nationwide as well as supporting his peers. He will be fresh off some exciting Nashville dates, playing a show at the legendary Bluebird Cafe and once again performing at AMERICANAFEST, the exciting annual Nashville event that brings together legendary artists, the next generation of rising stars, fans, and industry professionals for multiple days of music and education.
A portion of the proceeds from this concert will benefit Community in Crisis, the non-profit organization whose signature fundraiser Christian will be performing at the night before. (Learn more about CiC at www.communityincrisis.org .) Tickets for this very special concert are $35.
