Americana fok singer-songwriter Stacia Thiel captivates audiences with her evocative songwriting and stunning, emotionally resonant voice. Born into a musical family and raised in rural Wisconsin, she grew up surrounded by barbershop harmonies, classic country and ’60s folk, influences that shape her signature blend of folk and alt country. Her album “Straight to the Middle” reached the Top 20 on the Roots Music Report’s Top 50 Americana Country Album Chart, with the single “Sunny Days” breaking into the Top 10. Based in New Jersey by way of Hell’s Kitchen, Brooklyn and small-town Wisconsin, Stacia’s live shows are a compelling mix of storytelling, emotional depth, and a masterful musical tapestry. A classically trained opera singer and licensed psychotherapist, Stacia’s songs offer both emotional connection and introspective reflection, making her a standout voice in the Americana folk scene. She was recently a featured artist at NYC’s The Bitter End for the “On Your Radar” series, curated by WFUV’s John Platt.
Opening the concert will be Maura Glynn, a talented singer/songwriter from New Jersey known for her captivating vocal range and dynamic stage presence. With roots in the vibrant NJ music scene, Maura has spent years honing her craft, drawing inspiration from a diverse range of genres including rock, pop, jazz and soul. Her performances are marked by a blend of technical skill and raw emotion, making her a standout in any setting. Maura has performed at various venues across the state, earning a reputation for her ability to connect with audiences through her heartfelt delivery and powerful voice.
